Easy! Whether you are staying at the Ala Moana Hotel or Trump Tower Waikiki, you are within walking distance to just about anything you need. Beaches, shopping and dining are all within 5 minutes walking from both locations. Waikiki also features a very user friendly trolly and bus system that can take you from Ala Moana all the way to Diamond Head. Unless you have specific excursions you are planning on taking during your stay, car rentals are hardly necessary.
