Julia Roberts’ real estate dealings have been kept fairly quiet in comparison with many other celebrities, including her past co-stars George Clooney, Richard Gere and Sally Field. For the most part reports on the star’s real estate endeavours have included only photo-less news pieces, and rumors by curious reporters. The latest? The Real Estalker, recently reported that one of Roberts’ estates in Hawaii has been listed on the market for $17 million.
Supposedly, Roberts and her husband, Danny Moder, purchased the property back in 2009 for about $10 million. The 8-acre property includes a 3 bedroom main house that was recently remodeled by the San Francisco-based architect Greg Warner. The remodeled home features an open and airy space, vaulted beamed ceilings, breadboard walls, wood trim and floor-to-ceiling windows which provide views that look out to Mt.Kanana, the Limahuli Valley, and the water. There is also a guest cottage with private bedroom and bathroom, and of course the property also benefits from 400 feet of ocean frontage.
